My wife can’t say “ I love you

My wife can’t say “ I love you!”

Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it

Approximately 12 hours ago Wendy stopped responding to me when I said, “I love you”. The nurses had informed me she was actively dying (with signs of her knees modeling, her breathing labored and her circulation limited, not to mention she hasn’t eaten or drank anything formore than three days). To say I was prepared would be kicking at the truth it has been more than two weeks ago, that I decided to camp out in her hospice room that the ambulance transported her too, at The Hospice House in the Saint Lawrence Campus here in Lansing. Wendy and I have been visiting this hospital for 28 years and each time we left one of the sick church members being treated in the capable hospital we rejoiced over the ability to leave on our own power. We got to go home from the hospital, (often I would embarrass Wendy by doing a little jig or a fist pump in the sky as we exited the entrance doors) but this time it won’t be the same. Save Jesus “caught us up together in the air” Wendy is moving to Jesus neighborhood without me. I’m sending this notice out to all who have someone. You have a wife that you say I love youto, ladies to your husband you say, I love youto or do you? I’ll never hear it again from Wendy, if these medical professions have predicted correctly. Don’t miss out, while you have life turn to your mate and tell them, take it from me, you really don’t know what’s next.

Because He Lives,

Pastor

My heart is breaking for you all, but rejoicing for Wendy! The loss of a mother is still so fresh for me. Our earthly selves want our loved ones here with us. She is such a blessing to me and so many others. I will always remember her love, encouragement and testimony. Please know that I am praying for Wendy and all of you and will continue. I love you all!

Pastor Tim my heart aches for you. Words can only comfort as much as words can but you can rest assured that the arms that welcome Wendy home will be the same arms that will hold you tight during this time. And one day will welcome you home.
    God Bless You my friend.
