Home Bound and at Peace.

Home Bound and at Peace.

Psalms 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

I have been home and in my lift chair for 2 months, and God has encouraged me and given me sweet Blessings along the way.  Although I did not make it to church for Easter Services, I enjoyed watching it online at home and fellowshipping with the many ladies of our church who come during the Church services to babysit me!  We are getting used to our living room becoming our world, and it has been precious to us as a couple.  We were always close, but we are treasuring this new time together.  We talk, laugh, cry, and say thank you, Lord, I am still alive!   Even through more health setbacks, we feel so blessed!  There have been so many spiritual blessings, souls saved, new church members and the sweetest spirit in our church! My grandchildren are healthy and growing up, they bring me so much joy.  I love this weather, I know most of you do not, but I love the sunshine while it is snowing.  My daffodils covered in snow, remind me to be strong during trying times.  When I look outside, I see new growth and the promise of spring.  When I look at my damaged body, I have hope to survive in some way, not my way, but God’s way.  My tulips do not come back the same as last year, but they do come back. Lord, help me rebloom for you!

So while I am homebound, it is a wonderful home!  I am spiritually bound for home, my eternal home, and I am at peace for both!  Thank you for your prayers as I bloom at home!   Are you blooming or hibernating?
