How do I get to Community Baptist?
What to Expect on Your First Visit
Finding Your Way You’ll find our campus at the corner of Canal Rd and Mt. Hope Hwy. As you head toward the rear entrance, one of our hospitality greeters will be there to welcome you, help you find the right classrooms, and answer any questions you might have.
The Worship Experience Our main morning service lasts a little over an hour. You’ll enjoy beautiful music from our choir and soloists, followed by a clear, challenging message from Pastor Timothy Jackson.
Small Groups & Connection If you join us at 9:45 AM, we have Adult Bible Studies that offer a more personal setting. It’s a great place to enjoy some coffee and donuts, meet new people, and dive deeper into God’s Word.
For Your Family
Children (Infants – 5th Grade) We provide safe, clean, and highly-staffed nurseries for children ages three and under. For older children, our classes are designed to be both educational and exciting! Through our Kid’s Clubs, summer camps, and VBS, we aim to capture your child’s imagination and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
What about my teens?
Our youth ministry is full of wholesome excitement and dedicated mentorship. From mission trips and youth conferences to volleyball nights and weekly teen hour on Wednesday nights, there is always something happening to keep our teens grounded in faith and friendship.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear? There is no formal dress code. While many of our leaders and members prefer traditional “Sunday dress,” our main priority is that you feel comfortable and welcome.
Am I expected to give in the offering? No. We want our service to be a gift to you as our honored guest. Please do not feel any obligation to participate in the offering.
Who is the Pastor? Dr. Timothy Jackson founded Community Baptist Church in 1990. He has a genuine heart for people and for teaching the truth of God’s Word. You can learn more about him on his Info Page or Blog.
