February 12 update
This is a special year at Community Baptist Church of Lansing. September 2020 marks 30 years of ministry for our church opening up for business. Since, 1990 there have been unimaginable changes in our world some good some awful: 24-hour news became a mainstay, emergence of the world wide web-’91, youth violence like the Columbine High School Massacre-4/’99, Landing on Mars-07/99, Terrorism on our homeland WTC buildings-9/11/01, deciphering of human genome-’03, War in Iraq-’03, Natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina-8/05, iPad emmerged-04/10, release of Diverse Emoji’s 2/15, legalizing gay marriage 6/15, fidget spinners 5/17, total solar eclipse 8/17, scientist’ first photo of a black hole 4/19 not to mention the political leaders that have been elected or the other world events that have impacted this country. Now just think of all the people that have been ministered to through the Word of God through your prayers, faithfulness and stewardship in those same thirty years, phenomenal. The Next Step of the Community Baptist Church of Lansing could impact the next thirty years of ministry, whatever comes across the pages of time. Would you make a purposeful effort to pray for the Lord to have His Way? Proverbs 11:30!
