Welcome to Our Family!
We know that visiting a new church can be a big step for both parents and kids. Our goal is to make your child’s experience the highlight of their week! From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll find a community dedicated to nurturing your child’s faith in an environment that is safe, welcoming, and—most importantly—fun.
What to Expect on Your First Visit

Safety First: Your child’s safety is our priority. Our classrooms are led by vetted staff and teachers of sterling testimony who are committed to providing a secure environment.
-
Engaging Lessons: We don’t just “babysit.” Whether it’s Sunday School or Master Club, your child will participate in age-appropriate worship, interactive Bible stories, and activities that bring the Word of God to life.
-
Open Communication: We want you to feel confident. You are always welcome to peek in on a class or chat with our ministry leaders about any specific needs your child may have.

Igniting Faith & Fellowship
At Community Baptist Church, our youth ministry is more than just a schedule of events—it is a community where teenagers find their purpose in the Lord. We believe that growing in Christ should be filled with wholesome excitement and supported by leaders who truly care.
Dedicated Mentorship
Our ministry is fueled by a team of dedicated adult workers who do more than just supervise; they pray fervently for our youth, provide Godly counsel, and teach Bible lessons that resonate with the challenges teens face today. Whether we are across the street or on a mission trip across the globe, we are committed to helping our students follow the call of God.

Frequently Asked Questions about our teen ministry (FAQ)
What is “Teen Hour” on Wednesday nights? It’s our mid-week “recharge.” We skip the formal classroom setting for a high-energy hour of worship, a shorter topical devotion, and plenty of time for teens to hang out and build friendships.
How do you handle transportation for trips and conferences? For events like the Teen Conference or Summer Camp, we use church-approved vehicles driven by background-checked adults. We always travel as a group to ensure safety and accountability.
Are there costs associated with the activities? Weekly classes and Teen Hour are always free! For bigger events like the Zap Zone or Summer Camp, there is usually a registration fee. However, we never want cost to be a barrier to a student attending—scholarships are often available upon request.
How can I stay updated on the schedule? We provide a printed monthly calendar in the church’s Community Connection. You can also sign up for our Text in church Text messages to get reminders about volleyball nights and mission trip deadlines.
Can my teen bring friends who don’t attend Community Baptist? Absolutely! Most of our “wholesome excitement” events, like volleyball nights and the progressive dinner, are designed specifically for teens to invite their friends into a welcoming environment.
