Celebration Sunday: Giving by Faith! March 16, 2014
Church Plant Goals
The objective in 2014 will be to position the church plant (building and grounds) to honor The Lord and not limit the ministry with debt or inadequate space to minister. The three stage plan for the goal is: Retire, Remodel, Rise.

Retire all the church building debt.

Remodel the church facility to help with our growing ministry

Rise up and build the needed facility to minister to the church and community.

How Do We as a Church, Reach These Goals?

First by Prayer! We cannot hope to change this city our country or anything without the help of the Almighty. We need people to pray together as a group for God to bless our church.

Second by Giving! During our Celebration Sunday we all will be challenged to stretch our faith and give. We are reminded of the truth in the Bible in 2 Cor 8:2 “How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.” It is not out of our great excess that the Lord works but rather out of our great Sacrifice. We remember the words of Jesus when the poor widow cast into the offering plate, (what to everyone else was a worthless meaningless gift) what Jesus said in Mark 12 :43-44. 43 “And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” If we bind together, the Bible tells us that even the gates of Hell shall not prevail against our church. We can see the Lord’s blessings on our Church, when we all sacrifice a little more, realizing that Jesus Sacrificed all for us.
How can my little prayers be of any worth, you ask? Every prayer is a letter to an always answering and hearing God, who has the ability to supply all your needs according to his riches! Seriously, He owns the cattle on the thousand hills, the wealth of every mine, the power to move the hearts of Kings, the wisdom to guide us through every trail and storm. Pray for God to bless you and the church.
How can my little gifts make any difference? I am only giving a small amount! Have you seen what God does with small things? How about a small boy with a small sling and small stones, how about a little boy’s small lunch? How about a little prayer you once prayed that saved your soul from Hell? Little truly is much when God is in it. Your gifts given to the Lord are turned into the Lord’s gifts. The nuts and bolts of how your gifts make a difference are these: On March 17th, every gift that is given will go directly to help pay off the Church’s debt from our Building that we have been blessed with. This will save us thousands of dollars in interest over the course of the Loan, and since every member of the church is the church that means it is saving you thousands of Dollars, that can go to help missionaries in foreign countries; and reach out more in our own community! Many will also join in, besides the one time gift of giving, toward paying the debt weekly over the course of the year. Every dollar that comes in over last year’s building fund giving will go directly to paying off the previous debt for the church quickly! We will take these extra funds and pay on the principle of the loan every month! These are two great ways that you can help our church reach more people for the Kingdom of God. Remember God has no hands on this earth to help others, but your hands. Will you join us in reaching out a helping hand to world and our community?

“Buildings don’t change lives; but what happens in them does!”
